- Saemaul Undong Global League(SGL) is an international platform, which promotes network and collaboration between member countries by sharing success experience and knowledge of Saemaul Undong.

- Help localize and contextualize Saemaul Undong which is tailored to meet the local and current needs
by encouraging establishment of SMU centers - Cultivate people of talent and implement common SMU projects for the sake of all the communities

- Increase the number of member countries(especially in Latin America, and Middle East),
